Lauren Conrad ending the weekend with a summertime party. A handful of stars were spotted heading to a private affair in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (August 15). With Lauren Conrad among the partakers, the former MTV reality star was joined by the always adorable trio of Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz and their son Bronx Mowgli.
Lauren Conrad talked on her cell yesterday as she headed out to do her grocery shopping in LA — she was happy to speak on the phone, but she’s not a fan of people in other cars striking up a conversation through the window when she’s driving. The former star of The Hills was running errands following a workout, and she was still clad in her gym clothes. LC has been all about fitness lately, and she’s even roped friends like Frankie Delgado into accompanying her on hikes. She showed off the benefits of her exercise during a turn on the runway last weekend, though she kept her bikini body covered during a recent pool party in Las Vegas.
Spending the weekend in Sin City, Lauren Conrad hosted a pool party at TAO Beach in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday (July 31).
Donning a beach cover over her bikini, the former MTV reality star mingled with friends and fellow partygoers while tweeting of the event, “@taobeach with some besties for the @hpnotiqnite party! ”
Having recently been enjoying a little time off of work, LC is gearing up for intense promotional efforts in just a few short months.
Of her plans, she tells, “I have a book tour coming up in the beginning of October. Actually it’s a double tour for my third novel, Sugar & Spice, and a Style guide that I wrote (Lauren Conrad Style). Besides that I have the clothing lines to keep me busy, but I am also looking for the perfect project to produce. I’ve always loved the production side of entertainment and would love to be a part of it. I just want to be careful to select a show that I’ll love. I want my first one to be great!”
“Here is a video from my photo shoot for my Style Guide coming out October 5th. The shoot lasted four days, but we had so much fun together. Because it was my style guide, I got to use my favorite hair stylist, makeup artist, clothing stylist and photographer. A dressed-up Lauren Conrad arrived early to MyStudio in L.A. to support her friend Jilly Hendrix who was deejaying at the popular nightspot. The reality star and her friends took over a table by the deejay booth and immediately began chatting and giggling with each other.
They also cheered when their favorite song – “California Gurls” by Katy Perry – was played. Conrad, who rarely hits the clubs anymore, said hi to friends after taking a lap around the room, and also requested songs from her pal at the turntables.
Lauren tweeted: “At MyStudio listening to @jillyhendrix on the ones and twos!!”
Bringing an end to their hit MTV series, the past and present stars of “The Hills” gathered together at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California on Tuesday (July 13).
As the final episode aired on MTV, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port joined up with Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, Stephanie Pratt, Holly Montag, Lauren Bosworth, Brody Jenner and numerous others connected to the show to celebrate its successful tenure.
Talking about the end of her “Hills” duties, Audrina told press, “It’s bittersweet. It still hasn’t hit me. It’s gonna be hard. Everybody’s gonna have a new path and new beginnings.”
Echoing the same sentiments, Miss Cavallari said, “I can’t believe this is really goodbye.”
